The 2023 bushfire devastated our local community, destroying 18 homes and burnt through over 1870ha of semi-rural land.

 

As our community rallied together, more than 150 locals spent the night in evacuation centres. However, these evacuation centres were inadequate and lacked the basic necessities.

 

I'm fighting to upgrade 4 community centres across Wanneroo, Quinns, Butler and Two Rocks, to ensure our community feels safe and supported during times of crisis and emergency.
